I know it's been a while since my last Blog post here on Working 4 A Purpose, but I have had several irons in the pot, one of them being a new Blog that my sister and I have started called "Mountain Matters." It has been a blast getting it started, and a great outlet for me, as I truly am a Mountain Girl at heart! We'd love to invite you to join us if love adventure, nature and being in the mountains!
However, I will still be keeping this current Blog and hope it is an encouragement to you as well! It will be a bit more business focused and help you in growing in your life as a leader, and business person.
A great quote that I heard this week is:
Don't underestimate the little things people do. A lot of people, doing a little, can accomplish AMAZING THINGS!
Sometimes it's easy to focus on those who are doing great things, and forget those who are consistently working hard and being faithful, but maybe not accomplishing things as quickly. Remember, every person you work with is just as important as the other! Be sure to make them feel that way! Give them a call today to encourage them and cheer them on! It will make their day! And in the end, it will make your day as well!

New Year's Prayer
"Heavenly Father, for this coming year
Just one request I bring.
I do not pray for happiness or any earthly thing.
I do not ask to understand the way you lead me;
But this I ask—teach me to do the thing that pleases You.
I want to know Your guiding voice,
To walk with you each day.
I do not ask to understand the way you lead me;
But this I ask—teach me to do the thing that pleases You.
I want to know Your guiding voice,
To walk with you each day.
Heavenly Father,
Make me swift to hear and ready to obey;
And thus the year I now begin
Make me swift to hear and ready to obey;
And thus the year I now begin
A happy year will be,
If I am seeking just to do
The thing that pleases You."

How to Observe Thanksgiving
Count your blessings instead of your crosses;
Count your gains instead of your losses.
Count your joys instead of your woes;
Count your friends instead of your foes.
Count your smiles instead of your tears;
Count your courage instead of your fears.
Count your full years instead of your lean;
Count your kind deeds instead of your mean.
Count your health instead of your wealth;
Count on God instead of yourself.
