3 Weeks Down~~3 to Go

I am officially at the half way mark since I had my hysterectomy, and I know many of you have been waiting for an update...so here goes.

I am continuing to make progress, but it does seem a little like one step forward, two steps back. I will have a day where I feel really good, and then a couple of days where I don't feel so great. From everything I have read, that is normal. Each week I am definitely feeling stronger though, and just have to remind myself to not do too much too soon.

I have been going out for a walk each day, and love that! Just getting some fresh air, and seeing the mountains each morning, is enough to nourish my soul. My body keeps me in check, and I definitely hurt if I start to do too much. I am still needing to rest a lot and sleep some every day.

It has felt much like spring here, and the birds have been chirping. I saw a red Robin this morning on my walk, and it reminded me of the verse in Matthew 6:26-27 "Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they? Who of you by worrying can add a single hour to his life?"

What are your worries or concerns today? Remember to put your trust in God! He cares so much for you, and He will take care of you! Leave it in His hands....don't let the worries of tomorrow be added to the burdens of today. Take one day at a time, one step at a time.
