Just a quick reminder to turn your clocks ahead tonight.
Daylight Saving Time
By Nancy S. Kerns
He set the clock in the bedroom,But not the one on the VCR.
I set the one on the stove,
But not the one in the car.
No one changed the clock
That hangs on the kitchen wall.
That’s why we missed church.
I hope we do better this fall.
Daylight Savings Time
by Phyllis McGinley
In Spring when maple buds are red,
We turn the Clock an hour ahead;
Which means, each March that arrives,
We lose an hour
Out of our lives.
Who cares? When Autumn birds in flocks
Fly southward, back we turn the Clocks,
And so regain a lovely thing--
That missing hour
We lost last Spring.
